College Highlights

IDENTITY CARD : After the college re-opens for the new academic session, all new students will be given an identity card with a photograph and necessary details to prove their credentials as a bonafide student of the institution. Every student will be required to contact the office with the fee slip in original and collect the identity card on notified dates. All students are required to carry the I-card to the college everyday and produce it on demand. Duplicate Identity Card will be issued by the college on receiving an application from the student and on payment of Rs.100/- in the Accounts Office.

TIME TABLE: Copies of the time table for BA, B.Com courses pass will be distributed and explained to the first year students on the Orientation Day when students meet their respective teachers.

COLLEGE LIBRARY: SVRMC’s library is a boon for serious students. It is the repository of over one lakh books and one hundred journals both academic and general. It is among the first few fully automated libraries in the Acharya Nagarjuna University and provides photocopying and free internet facilities. Newly admitted students should contact the library staff with their Identity card for the issue of library cards.

COLLEGE GARDEN : Our College gardens are a consistent source of pride. This year we won 2- prizes in different categories including the Rock Garden which won the 1st prize at the University Flower show.

STUDENTS UNION: SVRMC has a dynamic Students Union ably guided by designated Staff Advisors. It regularly organizes cultural shows, seminars and other workshops, the most exciting of them being “SYMPHONY” the three day annual inter-college cultural festival of SVRMC. The union members are elected once a year and are extremely accessible and helpful in respect of students’ queries and problems. The Students union comprises of 4 elected members: President, Vice President, General Secretary and Treasurer and 4 nominated members : Drama Club Secretary, Debate Club Secretary, Music & Dance Club Secretary and Fine Arts Club Secretary.

AUDITORIUM : SVRMC has a unique open air auditorium situated amidst lush green surroundings that lend a special charm to the diverse exhilarating functions it hosts. It seats more than 2000 people and has fully equipped green rooms.
