NATIONAL CADET CORPS (NCC): Our NCC Cadets have won many accolades and laurels in shooting, firing, drill and line competitions. NCC Cadets also attend Republic Day Camps. NCC Programme begins in August and ends with the certificate exams held in March every year. NATIONAL SERVICE SCHEME (NSS): NSS society of SVRMC is affiliated to NSS unit of Acharya Nagarjuna University. Students registered for NSS have t take up some projects like Blood Donation Camps, Community Service, Hospital Service etc. EXTRA-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES INCLUDE: • Debating Society COLLEGE MAGAZINE: College magazine captures the thought provoking and entertaining expressions of students who choose to straddle the realms of linguistics and creative thought. DRAMA CLUB: SVRMC Drama club, scripts and produces plays that are staged in the college. The most regular activity of the club has been its Annual Day productions which are equally cerebral and enjoyable. THE DEBATING CLUB: SVRMC’s Debating Club thrashes out several prickly issues that trouble the national consciousness. It regularly organizes and participates in inter-college competitions with success and organizes workshops for its members on public speaking and debating styles. FINE ARTS CLUB: SVRMC’s Fine Arts Club provides a platform for students with talent and interest in painting, rangoli, alpana, mehandi and pottery-making. It hones and show cases such talent and interest during college and inter-college functions. Workshops are held from time to time.
